وأدلى السفير هيثم صلاح كامل سفير مصر في هلسنكي بصوته الانتخابات الرئاسية المصريةوقال السفير إنه رغم تساقط الثلوج بغزارة وانخفاض درجات الحرارة ووصول البرودة الفعلية إلى 20 درجة تحت الصفر، إلا أن عزيمة المجتمع ووطنيته الشديدة، رغم تقدم أحدهم في العمر، لم تمنعهم أو تمنعهم من الحضور للإدلاء بأصواتهم في الانتخابات الرئاسية..
وأضاف السفير هيثم صلاح قائلا: حتى الأمهات رافقن أطفالهن، رغم الصقيع والثلج، للمشاركة في فرحة العرس الانتخابي، وهذه قمة الوطنية..
انطلقت اليوم الجمعة، عملية التصويت للمصريين بالخارج في الانتخابات الرئاسية المصرية 2024، وعلى مدار 3 أيام تنتهي الأحد، في عدد 137 لجنة فرعية موزعة على مقار البعثات الدبلوماسية بدول العالم. ويصوت المصريون في الخارج بالحضور الشخصي بمقر السفارة أو القنصلية المصرية التي يتواجد بها الناخب خلال الأيام. المخصص للتصويت، واختيار المرشح الذي يرغب فيه، ووضع بطاقة الاقتراع في الصندوق المخصص لذلك.
أصدرت الهيئة الوطنية للانتخابات، برئاسة المستشار حازم بدوي، ضوابط لآلية تصويت المصريين في الخارج، وذلك للتأكد من صحة أصواتهم في الانتخابات داخل مقار البعثات والقنصليات، وهي أن الناخب يجب أن يقدم ما يثبت ذلك هويته أمام لجنة الانتخابات خارج جمهورية مصر العربية، ويجب أن يكون إثبات الشخصية إما عن طريق بطاقة الرقم القومي سارية المفعول. أو جواز سفر ساري المفعول ومرفق به الرقم الوطني.
