القومى لتنظيم الاتصالات يغرم "المصرية للاتصالات" 20مليون جنيه لتأثر خدماتها
غرّم الجهاز القومي لتنظيم الاتصالات شركة المصرية للاتصالات 20 مليون جنيه، بعد أن اكتشف عطلًا خطيرًا في البنية التحتية وانقطاع خدمات الصوت والإنترنت في أماكن مختلفة يوم الثلاثاء 5 ديسمبر 2023. كما وجه الجهاز الشركات المقدمة للخدمة بتعويض المتضررين العملاء وفقا للقواعد. التعويضات العامة التي يصدرها الجهاز للشركات العاملة في السوق المصري لحماية حقوق المستخدمين في حالة تأثر الخدمات.
وكان الجهاز القومي لتنظيم الاتصالات قد شكل لجنة فنية طوارئ فور حدوث الانقطاع، لتحديد أسبابه وتحديد مدى التأثير الناتج عن الانقطاع والفترة الزمنية للانقطاع والمناطق المتضررة، لحين عودة الخدمة و واستقرت في كافة المناطق. وبناء على تقرير اللجنة أصدرت الهيئة قرارها بتغريم الشركة.
وستستكمل اللجنة الفنية عملها مع مزودي خدمات الإنترنت لفهم الصورة الكاملة لمدى التأثير على الخدمات، واتخاذ الإجراءات اللازمة لحماية حقوق المستخدمين.
وشددت الهيئة على ضرورة اتخاذ كافة الإجراءات التي تضمن استمرارية تقديم الخدمة وتجنب تكرار أعطال الشبكة التي تؤثر على المستخدمين، وذلك لتلبية احتياجات المستخدمين وضمان حقوقهم وزيادة رضاهم عن الخدمات التي يتلقونها.
