مرضت المرأة العجوز ولم تتمكن من الذهاب إلى الجمعية لدفع راتبها الشهري. بدأت بإرسال ابنها محمود م.، 23 سنة، عاطل عن العمل، لدفع راتبها الشهري، واستمر ابن السيدة العجوز في دفع المبلغ لفترة.
وهمس الشيطان في ذهن ابن المرأة العجوز أن يسرق من الجمعية. وكان دائما يرى الأموال داخل خزنتها الموجودة بمكتب الحاج ياسر، لكن كل محاولات المتهم باءت بالفشل، فقرر الذهاب ودفع راتب والدته الشهري يوم الواقعة ليرى رئيس الجمعية حاضرا بمفرده ليقرر تنفيذ قراره. خطة شيطانية، وسرقة الرابطة.
وفي لحظة اتخذ القرار والضحية كان يجهل فخنقه بدم بارد. استولى على أموال الخزينة التي كانت ستصرف على الحالات الإنسانية مثل والدته، لكن تفكيره الشيطاني سيطر عليه وجعله ينفذ جريمته النكراء.
