وزير الكهرباء يستعرض مع هيئة الربط الخليجي مراحل إنجاز العمل في خط الوفرة – الفاو
استقبل وزير الكهرباء السيد زياد علي فاضل، في مكتبه، وفداً رفيعاً من هيئة الربط الخليجي برئاسة الاستاذ محمد الشيخ نائب الرئيس التنفيذي للهيئة.
وجرى استعرض مراحل إنجاز العمل في خط ( وفرة – فاو ) وتنفيذ مقاطع الخطوط الرابطة داخل دولة الكويت، وصولاً الى منطقة الفاو جنوب العراق.
و أكد السيد الوزير على أهمية الربط الكهربائي مع دول الخليج كخطوة واعدة نحو تحقيق استقرار الطاقة في العراق، مبيناً ان هذا التعاون بين العراق وأشقائه في دول الخليج يعزز قدرتنا على تلبية احتياجات المواطنين وتحفيز التنمية المستدامة في قطاع الكهرباء.
من جانبه عبر وفد هيئة الربط الخليجي عن امتنانه للاهتمام الكبير من قبل الحكومة العراقية ووزارة الكهرباء في تذليل كافة العقبات وتسهيل متطلبات انجاز العمل ومنها استصدار الضمان السيادي الخاص بمشاريع الربط الكهربائي.
