شهد الفريق أول محمد زكى القائد العام للقوات المسلحة وزير الدفاع والإنتاج الحربى مراسم الإحتفال بتكريم عدد من القادة الذين أمضوا مدة خدمتهم بالقوات المسلحة وأحيلوا إلى التقاعد فى الأول من يناير لعام 2024 ، وذلك بحضور الفريق أسامة عسكر رئيس أركان حرب القوات المسلحة وقادة الأفرع الرئيسية وعدد من كبار قادة #القوات_المسلحة وأسرهم .
وقام القائد العام بتقليد القادة المكرمين وسام الجمهورية العسكرى الذى صدق على منحه لهم الرئيس عبدالفتاح السيسى رئيس الجمهورية القائد الأعلى للقوات المسلحة تقديراً لجهودهم الوطنية طوال مدة خدمتهم بالقوات المسلحة .
ونقل الفريق أول محمد زكى تحية وتقدير الرئيس عبدالفتاح السيسى رئيس الجمهورية القائد الأعلى للقوات المسلحة للقادة الذين أمضوا رسالتهم داخل القوات المسلحة بكل صدق وإخلاص .
وأشاد القائد العام للقوات المسلحة بالقادة المكرمين الذين كانوا نموذجاً يُحتذى به فى تنفيذ المهام والواجبات المكلفين بها بكل كفاءة وإقتدار ، مشيراً إلى أن تجديد مسئولية القيادة ونقلها من جيل إلى جيل من التقاليد العسكرية الراسخة ، كما قدم التحية لأسر القادة المكرمين على ما تحملوه من عبء المسئولية الأُسرية وتنشئة الأبناء على المبادئ والقيم المصرية الأصيلة ، مؤكداً أن القوات المسلحة ستظل دائماً زاخرة بالقدرات والكفاءات وميداناً للتضحية والعطاء لخدمه الوطن والذود عن ترابه المقدس .
