خلال برنامج العرافة المذاع على قناة النهار، استضافت الإعلامية بسمة وهبة الفنان تامر عبدالمنعم، ودار بين الإثنين حوار عن المحامي الراحل فريد الديب، فيما يخص تفاصيل رحيله.
وقال الفنان تامر عبد المنعم أن الراحل فريد الديب أصيب سنة ٢٠١٥ بسرطان الدم، وكان يتناول دواء مخصص للمرض يأتي من الخارج.
وتابع “عبدالمنعم” أن وفاة ابنة الديب ،إيمان الديب، أدخلته في اكتئاب شديد، حيث توفيت عن عمر ٤٩ عاما بڤيروس كورونا.
ويكمل تامر عبدالمنعم قائلا: “علمت قبل وفاة الأستاذ فريد بحوالي ٣ أسابيع، أنه انقطع عن تناول الدواء، مما أدى إلي تدهور حالته الصحية، وانتفاخ بطنه بالماء، وأصبح في وضع مواجهة مع الموت.
ومن جانبها، ردت عليه الإعلامية بسمة وهبة قائلة: “يعني كان بينتحر بالبطيء، ده يعتبر انتحار، يعني أنا دلوقتي بعتبر أستاذ فريد الديب انتحر”.
ونفى الفنان تامر عبدالمنعم ما قالته بسمة وهبة بشأن انتحاره حيث قال: “مش انتحار، هو فصل، هو رفض للحياة، أنا بعتبره موت بالبطيء”.
