تواصل الأجهزة الأمنية بوزارة الداخلية جهودها في مكافحة جرائم الاتجار في النقد الأجنبي (العملة الصعبة) خارج السوق المصرفي (السوق السوداء).
ونجحت جهود قطاع الأمن العام بالاشتراك مع الإدارة العامة لمكافحة جرائم الأموال العامة ومديريات الأمن خلال 24 ساعة في ضبط عدد من قضايا الاتجار في العملات الأجنبية المختلفة.
قدرت قيمة الأموال المضبوطة في القضايا بقرابة 20 مليون جنيه.
يأتي ذلك استمرارا للضربات الأمنية لجرائم الاتجار غير المشروع بالنقد الأجنبي والمضاربة بأسعار العملات عن طريق إخفائها عن التداول والاتجار بها خارج نطاق السوق المصرفي.
