تواصل الوحدات المحلية بمحافظة المنيا، جهودها في تنفيذ أعمال المبادرة الرئاسية للتشجير والمعنية بزراعة 100 مليون شجرة، وذلك في إطار تنفيذ توجيهات اللواء أسامه القاضي محافظ المنيا بتكثيف جهود المراكز في تنفيذ خطة المحافظة لمواجهة التغيرات المناخية، بما يسهم في توفير مساحة خضراء والحد من التلوث، وخلق بيئة أكثر نقاءً للمواطنين.
من جانبه، أوضح محمد عبد الغني رئيس مركز ومدينة ديرمواس ، انه يجري استكمال أعمال تنسيق وزراعة الأشجار بعدد من الطرق الرئيسية بالمدينة، والقرى حيث تم زراعة 100 شجرة مثمرة وزينة بطريق مصر أسوان الزراعي بمدخل المدينة الشمالي، مؤكداً أن حملات المتابعة الميدانية مستمرة لتحقيق المستهدف من أعمال خطة المحافظة في تنفيذ أعمال النظافة والتجميل وزيادة المساحات الخضراء وخلق بيئة صحية ونظيفة، إلى جانب متابعة كافة القطاعات على مستوى الخدمات، حرصاً على تحقيق الصالح العام لكافة فئات المواطنين.
