اعرب أحمد بن عبد الله الظهوري، عن سعادته بالنتائج التي حققها المنتخب العماني بالبطولة العربية لألعاب القوي تحت سن 23 والتي ينظمها الاتحاد المصري لألعاب القوي برئاسة الدكتور سيف شاهين رئيس الاتحاد باستاد هيئة قناة السويس بالإسماعيلية.
وأعرب أحمد بن عبد الله الظهوري، عن اعتزازه بالفوز الذي حققه لاعبنا المتميز علي البلوشي بحصوله على ذهبية سباق 100 متر وتسجيله لرقم قياسي جديد بزمن قدره 10 ثوانٍ، مؤكدا أن هذا الإنجاز لم يكن ليتحقق لولا الجهود الكبيرة التي بذلها اللاعب والجهاز الفني والدعم المستمر من الاتحاد العماني لألعاب القوى.
وأشار أحمد بن عبد الله الظهوري، الي فخر الوفد العماني
بتحقيق ذهبية المطرقة وتحقيق رقم جديد للبطولة العربية ورقم عماني جديد، مما يعكس تطور مستوى رياضيينا وقدرتهم على المنافسة وتحقيق الإنجازات في المحافل الدولية.
وأعلن رئيس البعثة العمانية عن تأهل علي البلوشي وحمزة الجابري لنهائي سباق 200 متر، وهو إنجاز آخر يضاف إلى سلسلة النجاحات التي يحققها لاعبو المنتخب العماني في هذه البطولة.
واختتم متمنيا للجميع اللاعبين المشارك التوفيق والنجاح في النهائي، وأن يواصلا رفع راية عمان في المحافل الرياضية بكل فخر واعتزاز.
