1 – اصطحاب علبة الهاتف المسروق وعمل بلاغ في قسم الشرطة التابع له عنوان البطاقة أو الواقع في دائرته واقعة السرقة .
2 – الحصول على رقم المحضر ثم الذهاب بعد 3 أيام الي المحكمة التابع لها قسم الشرطة وتقديم طلب لوكيل النيابة لعمل تتبع للهاتف .
3 – صيغة الطلب والبيانات المطلوبة موجودة عند موظف النيابة .
4 – يتم إصدار أمر من النيابة موجه الي شركات المحمول الأربعة العاملة في مصر للإفادة ببيانات من يضع شريحة في الموبايل المسروق (التتبع) .
5 – يتم الرد من شركات المحمول علي النيابة خلال عدة اسابيع . ولو حضرتك عايز تسرع الإجراءات بتاخد الجوابات الأربعة الموجهه من النيابة لشركات المحمول وتسلمها لهم في القرية الذكية في أكتوبر وده بيوفر وقت طويل .
6 – بعد ذلك ترسل شركات المحمول بيانات الشريحة الموجودة في الموبايل المسروق وتوجه له النيابة العامة تهمة السرقة وتأمر بضبطه وإحضاره
