وزير الخارجية يتوجه إلى أكرا للمشاركة في الاجتماع التنسيقي السادس للاتحاد الأفريقى

توجه السيد د. بدر عبد العاطي وزير الخارجية والهجرة وشئون المصريين بالخارج إلى أكرا عاصمة جمهورية غانا، وذلك ضمن الوفد المصري الذي سيترأسه السيد رئيس مجلس الوزراء، للمشاركة في الاجتماع التنسيقي السادس للاتحاد الأفريقى و التجمعات الاقتصادية الإقليمية على مستوى القمة، والذى ينعقد بشكل سنوى.
وصرح السفير أحمد أبو زيد المتحدث الرسمي ومدير إدارة الدبلوماسية العامة بوزارة الخارجية والهجرة، بأن القمة التنسيقية هذا العام من المقرر أن تتناول حالة التكامل الإقليمي، ومتابعة تنسيق سياسات الاتحاد الإفريقي والتجمعات الاقتصادية الإقليمية لتعزيز القدرة على الاندماج والتكامل.
وكشف المتحدث الرسمى، أنه من المقرر أن يعقد الوزير عبد العاطي عدداً من اللقاءات الثنائية على هامش الزيارة، تشمل رئيس مفوضية الاتحاد الأفريقي و مفوض السلم والأمن والسكرتيرة التنفيذية لآلية مراجعة النظراء والمدير التنفيذى للنيباد، بالإضافة إلى لقاءات أخرى مع عدد من وزراء الخارجية الأفارقة. وتستهدف لقاءات وزير الخارجية التشاور والتنسيق بشأن مسيرة العمل الإفريقي المشترك، وتقييم التقدم المحرز في التكامل القاري والإقليمي، ومتابعة ملف العلاقات الثنائية بين مصر والدول الإفريقية.
واختتم السفير أحمد أبو زيد تصريحاته، موضحاً أن السيد وزير الخارجية سيشارك أيضاً في بعض الفعاليات المتخصصة التي تنظمها مفوضية الاتحاد الأفريقي على هامش القمة، كما سيلتقى مع عدد من رجال الأعمال والمستثمرين الأفارقة لعرض الفرص الاستثمارية المتاحة فى مصر وتشجيع مجتمع الأعمال الأفريقى على التعاون الاقتصادى والتجارى مع نظرائهم فى مصر.
