أعلن رئيس جهاز التمثيل التجاري المصري، يحيى الواثق بالله، عن وصول حجم التبادل التجاري بين مصر ودول تكتل “بريكس” إلى نحو 25 مليار دولار.
وأكد الواثق بالله أن انضمام مصر لتجمع “بريكس” يفتح آفاقا واسعة للاستثمار والتجارة، مبينا أن مصر بوابة استراتيجية للشرق الأوسط وإفريقيا، ومحطة هامة في مبادرة الحزام والطريق الصينية، إضافة لتمتعها بممر بحري أساسي من خلال قناة السويس.
وأضاف المسؤول المصري أن انضمام بلاده للتكتل يوفر فرصا استثمارية جديدة، ليس فقط داخل مصر، بل يتيح للمستثمرين إمكانية الوصول إلى أسواق أوروبا وإفريقيا، مشيرا إلى المزايا التجارية التي تتمتع بها مصر، بما في ذلك عضويتها في منطقة الكوميسا التي تضم 21 دولة إفريقية والتي تتيح إعفاءات جمركية متبادلة.
