نجح بفضل من الله فريق طبي من قسم العيون بمستشفى حقل العام التابع للتجمع الصحي بمنطقة تبوك من إنهاء معاناة مريضة في العقد التاسع من العمر تعاني من إنعدام كامل للرؤية للعينين نتيجة تحجر الماء الأبيض داخلها بالإضافة لظروفها الصحية والمتمثلة في الشيخوخة وأمراض القلب كذلك عدم القدرة على الحركة وضعف في السمع وصعوبة في النوم .
وقال الفريق الطبي من قسم العيون بالمستشفى بعد معاينة المريضة وإجراء الفحوصات الطبية اللازمة تم عمل خطة علاجية وذلك بعد عرضها على قسم التخدير والذي قرر بتخديرها تخديراً كليا تم على الفور إدخالها لغرفة العمليات لإجراء عملية دقيقة ومعقدة وتم بفضل من الله إزالة المياه البيضاء وزراعة عدسه للعين اليمنى ومن ثم العين اليسرى في أوقات متفاوتة تمت خلال اسبوعين تكللت بحمدالله بالنجاح واستغرقت العملية ٦٠ دقيقة لكل عين تماثلت المريضة بالشفاء وخرجت من المستشفى.
و أشار الفريق الطبي من قسم العيون بانه يتم يومياً عمليات إزالة المياه البيضاء داخل المستشفى كذلك عمليات إصلاح الحول عمليتين اسبوعياً على الأقل و إزالة الظفره pterygium removal.
