"الأونروا" تطلب 104 مليون دولار بشكل عاجل من أجل المساعدات المُنقذة للحياة فى قطاع غزة
قالت المفوضية السامية للأمم المتحدة لشؤون اللاجئين، مساء اليوم الأربعاء، إنها تسعى لجمع 104 ملايين دولار كمساعدات عاجلة لقطاع غزة الذي يتعرض لقصف إسرائيلي انتقامي في أعقاب عملية “فيضان الأقصى”. والتي أطلقتها حركة حماس مطلع الأسبوع الجاري..
وقالت وكالة الأمم المتحدة لإغاثة وتشغيل اللاجئين الفلسطينيين في الشرق الأدنى (الأونروا) – في بيان صحفي – إن “الأونروا تسعى بشكل عاجل للحصول على 104 ملايين دولار أمريكي لتمكين استجابتها الإنسانية متعددة القطاعات خلال التسعين يوما المقبلة”.“.
وستقوم الأموال المطلوبة بتغطية الاحتياجات العاجلة من الغذاء وغير الغذائية والصحة والمأوى والحماية لما يصل إلى 250,000 شخص يبحثون عن الأمان في ملاجئ الأونروا في جميع أنحاء القطاع المدمر، بالإضافة إلى 250,000 لاجئ فلسطيني آخر.“.
وقال المفوض العام للأونروا فيليب لازاريني: “إن ما يتكشف هو في الحقيقة مأساة إنسانية غير مسبوقة. ومهما كانت الظروف، فإن القواعد في أوقات النزاع، وهذا الصراع ليس استثناءً، هي أن المساعدات للمدنيين الذين ليس لديهم مكان يفرون إليه يجب أن تكون فورية، وأعني هنا الماء والغذاء”. والدواء“.
وأضاف لازاريني: “من الملح للغاية ضمان وصول المساعدات الإنسانية والحماية لجميع المدنيين“.
تجدر الإشارة إلى أن الأونروا لا تزال تواجه أزمة مالية حادة، حيث أن التمويل الحالي لا يكفي إلا لمواصلة خدماتها العادية في جميع أنحاء المنطقة حتى نهاية تشرين الأول/أكتوبر الجاري. وتشمل هذه الخدمات التعليم والرعاية الصحية والحماية الاجتماعية. ولا يمكن تنفيذ هذا النداء العاجل إلا إذا تلقت الأونروا أيضا التمويل اللازم لميزانيتها البرنامجية الأساسية، والتي تعد ضرورية لخدمات الوكالة في قطاع غزة وميادين العمليات الأخرى..
وقال لازاريني: “من أجل الحفاظ على عملنا المنقذ للحياة في قطاع غزة وفي جميع أنحاء المنطقة ولكي نبقى شريان حياة لملايين لاجئي فلسطين في جميع أنحاء المنطقة، فإنني أدعو الجهات المانحة للأونروا وشركائها إلى زيادة دعمهم المالي”.“.
