رئيس الوزراء البريطاني ريشي سوناك يدعو إلى “هدنة” في غزة؛ وذلك للسماح بدخول المساعدات وخروج “الرهائن” والمواطنين البريطانيين.
وقال سوناك لأعضاء البرلمان البريطاني إن المملكة المتحدة ناقشت بالفعل هذه الفكرة مع دول أخرى ضمن الأمم المتحدة، بحسب ما نقلته صحيفة الإندبندنت البريطانية على موقعها الإلكتروني الأربعاء.
وأوضح رئيس الوزراء البريطاني أن الحكومة تريد أن يتمكن البريطانيون من المغادرة وإطلاق سراح “الرهائن”، وكذلك السماح بمرور المساعدات الإنسانية إلى غزة.
وأضاف: “نحن ندرك أنه لكي يحدث كل هذا، يجب أن تكون هناك بيئة أكثر أمانًا، وهو ما يتطلب بالطبع فترات توقف مؤقتة محددة، وهو ما يختلف عن وقف إطلاق النار، وقد ناقشنا هذه الفكرة مع الشركاء مساء أمس في الأمم المتحدة. “
