تتعرض المرأة الحامل للعديد من المضاعفات الصحية خلال فترة الحمل، وهذا يزيد من فرص تعرضها هي والجنين لمشاكل صحية إذا أهملت تناول الفيتامينات لهذه الفترة، حيث تعاني الحامل من نقص الفيتامين.
من جانبها، أكدت الدكتورة داليا أيمن، استشاري أمراض النساء والتوليد بالقصر العيني، في تصريح خاص لـ”اليوم السابع” ضرورة تناول المرأة الحامل للفيتامينات أثناء فترة الحمل للحفاظ على صحة الأم والجنين، موضحة أن هذه الفيتامينات يجب أن تحصل عليها الحامل لمدة ثلاثة أشهر على الأقل. الأول من الحمل.
المضاعفات الصحية الناتجة عن نقص الفيتامينات:
وأوضح استشاري أمراض النساء، أن هذه الفيتامينات ضرورية، وأبرزها حمض الفوليك الذي يحمي من تشوهات الجهاز العصبي، فيما يؤثر نقص الفيتامينات والمعادن الأخرى على نمو الجنين.
وأشارت الدكتورة داليا إلى المشاكل الصحية التي تعاني منها المرأة الحامل نتيجة عدم تناولها الفيتامينات المهمة أو الناتجة عن سوء التغذية، ومنها مشكلة فقر الدم لدى الأم والذي يحدث نتيجة نقص الحديد.
وأضافت الاستشاري إلى ضرورة تناول اليود لتحسين الوظيفة الصحية للغدة الدرقية للمرأة أثناء الحمل، لأن نقص اليود يمكن أن يسبب مضاعفات صحية خطيرة للغاية، بما في ذلك الإجهاض، وولادة جنين ميت، وتوقف النمو الجسدي، والإعاقة العقلية الشديدة.
