اليونيسيف: حصيلة ضحايا الأطفال فى قطاع غزة تتزايد يوميا
أعلنت منظمة الأمم المتحدة للطفولة (يونيسف) أن أكثر من 420 طفلاً يقتلون ويصابون في قطاع غزة يومياً.
وقالت المديرة التنفيذية للمنظمة كاثرين راسل – كما أوردت شبكة “سكاي نيوز” البريطانية في نشرتها الصادرة باللغة الإنجليزية اليوم الثلاثاء – إن ما لا يقل عن 3400 طفل قتلوا في قطاع غزة خلال ثلاثة أسابيع.
وأضاف راسل أنه مع مرور الوقت تتزايد الحصيلة بسرعة كبيرة، لافتا إلى أن هناك انتهاكات جسيمة بحق الأطفال على نطاق واسع.
وأشارت إلى أن العنف المرتكب ضد الأطفال يمتد إلى ما هو أبعد من قطاع غزة، ففي الضفة الغربية، بما فيها القدس الشرقية، قُتل ما لا يقل عن 37 طفلا.
يُشار إلى أن أكثر من 8500 مواطن استشهدوا في قطاع غزة خلال ثلاثة أسابيع، منهم 66% من النساء والأطفال.
