العراق يفوز بعضوية المجلس التنفيذى لليونسكو رسميًا
أعلنت وزارة التربية العراقية، الأربعاء، فوز العراق رسميا بعضوية المجلس التنفيذي لمنظمة اليونسكو.
وذكرت الوزارة – في بيان أوردته وكالة الأنباء العراقية (واع) – أن ذلك جاء بعد فوز العراق في الانتخابات الحاسمة خلال فعاليات الدورة الـ42 لمؤتمر اليونسكو الدولي في باريس، مشيرة إلى أن ذلك جاء بعد 38 عاما من منتظر.
وبهذه المناسبة قدم رئيس الوزراء العراقي محمد شياع السوداني عبر منصة (X) بحسب ما نقلت (واع) التهاني بمناسبة فوز العراق بعضوية المجلس التنفيذي لمنظمة اليونسكو الذي يمثله. أعلى هيئة علمية وثقافية في العالم.
وشدد السوداني على أن عودة العراق إلى جبهات دولية مهمة تمثل استحقاقا طبيعيا، كما أنها تدخل ضمن سياسة الحكومة وبرنامجها لاستعادة مكانة العراق في كافة المحافل الدولية.
