نشرت الصفحة الرسمية للأزهر الشريف على موقع التواصل ‘فيسبوك’ ،منذ ساعة، تعليق فضيلة الشيخ أحمد الطيب ،شيخ الأزهر، على مقتل ثلاثة رهبان في الحادث الإرهابي الذي طال أحد الأديرة الأرثوذكسية بجنوب أفريقيا.
وجاء في المنشور إدانة فضيلة الشيخ أحمد الطيب ،شيخ الأزهر، بأشد العبارات، الهجوم الإرهابي الذي استهدف دير القديس مارمرقس الرسول والقديس الأنبا صموئيل، التابع للكنيسة القبطية الأرثوذكسية، ومقره في جوهانسبرج بجنوب إفريقيا، وأسفر عن مقتل ثلاثة رهبان بالكنيسة
وأكد فضيلته من خلال المنشور أن الاعتداء على النفس الآمنة في دُور العبادة هو عملٌ إرهابيٌّ بغيض، وأن الشرائع بقيمها الداعية للسلام والمحبة لا يمكن أن تكون أبدًا مبررًا للقتل والإرهاب.
واختتم المنشور بتقديم شيخ الأزهر خالص العزاء وصادق المواساة لقداسة البابا تواضروس الثاني، بابا الإسكندرية وبطريرك الكنيسة القبطية الأرثوذكسية، ولأسر الضحايا، وبالمطالبة بسرعة ضبط الجناة وتقديمهم للعدالة.
