مصر تُرحب بتصويت الجمعية العامة لدعم حقوق الشعب الفلسطيني للحصول على العضوية الكاملة في الأمم المتحدة

رحبت جمهورية مصر العربية في بيان صادر عن وزارة الخارجية، بتصويت أغلبية أعضاء الجمعية العامة للأمم المتحدة لصالح القرار الذي قدمته المجموعة العربية لدعم أهلية دولة فلسطين في العضوية الكاملة بالمنظمة الدولية.
واعتبرت مصر أن صدور هذا القرار التاريخي، بمثابة تجسيد لواقع وحقيقة تاريخية على الأرض، واعتراف بحقوق شعب عانى لأكثر من سبعة عقود من الاحتلال الأجنبي، منوهة بأهمية توقيت صدور هذا القرار في مرحلة دقيقة تمر بها القضية الفلسطينية في ظل اعتداءات إسرائيلية غير مسبوقة على الشعب الفلسطيني وحقوقه.
ودعت جمهورية مصر العربية بهذه المناسبة، جميع الدول التي لم تتخذ بعد قرار الاعتراف بالدولة الفلسطينية، أن تمضي قُدُماً نحو اتخاذ هذه الخطوة الهامة والمفصلية لدعم القضية الفلسطينية وحقوق الشعب الفلسطيني.
هذا، وطالبت جمهورية مصر العربية مجلس الأمن، والأطراف الدولية المؤثرة، بالتعامل بالمسئولية المطلوبة مع الوضع الخطير الذي يشهده قطاع غزة، لاسيما مدينة رفح الفلسطينية التي تتعرض لمخاطر إنسانية جمة نتيجة السيطرة الإسرائيلية على المعابر ومنع تدفق المساعدات الإنسانية.
وجددت مصر مطالبتها بأهمية تكثيف الجهود الدولية من أجل تحقيق رؤية حل الدولتين، وإقامة الدولة الفلسطينية المستقلة على حدود يونيو لعام ١٩٦٧، وعاصمتها القدس الشرقية.
