أعلن وزير الشؤون الدينية الباكستاني، شودري سالك حسين، عن فقدان أثر حوالي 50 ألف مواطن باكستاني خلال زياراتهم الدينية في العراق، دون تحديد موعد معين لهذا الحدث.
وذكر حسين عبر بيان رسمي أن العراق يمتلك نظاما خاصا لمراقبة الزوار الوافدين، ما يعزز من إجراءات السلامة.
من ناحية أخرى، تحدث وزير الشؤون الاجتماعية العراقي، أحمد الأسدي، عن تدفق السياح من دول مختلفة بما في ذلك الباكستان، حيث أشار إلى أن بعض هؤلاء الزائرين انخرطوا في الأعمال التجارية بالأسواق العراقية بطرق غير قانونية.
وأكد الأسدي أن هذا الأمر له تأثيرات سلبية على السوق المحلية، ما دفع الوزارة للتوجه نحو اتخاذ إجراءات قانونية صارمة لضمان حماية حقوق العمال والحفاظ على استقرار الاقتصاد.
