تعتزم وزارة البترول والثروة المعدنية المصرية إنشاء مُجمع لاستخلاص المعادن، وأهمها الذهب والفضة، باستثمارات تبلغ نحو 700 مليون جنيه في أسوان، مقسمة على مرحلتين.
وأفادت مصادر حكومية بأن شركة “شلاتين للثروة المعدنية”، المالكة للمشروع، ستقوم بتدبير استثمارات المجمع، وتخطط لضخها على مرحلتين تنتهيان في مايو 2026.
وتتولى شركة “غاز مصر” تنفيذ المرحلة الأولى من المشروع، حيث تسلمت الشركة أرض المجمع وبدأت في تنفيذ أعمال الرفع المساحي، التي سيتبعها تنفيذ أعمال الأساسات والبنية التحتية، مع توقع الانتهاء من المرحلة الأولى في الربع الثاني من 2025.
