أعلنت حكومة زيمبابوي موافقتها على “خارطة طريق” للتخلي عن الدولار الأميركي لصالح العملة الوطنية الرسمية “زيغ”، المدعومة بالسبائك في المعاملات، وهي الاستراتيجية التي قد يكشف عنها وزير المالية، متولي نكوبي، الأسبوع المقبل.
وكالة “بلومبرغ” قد نقلت عن وزير الإعلام في زيمبابوي، جينفان موسويري، قوله، في تصريح صحافي يوم الثلاثاء عقب جلسة لمجلس الوزراء في العاصمة هراري، إنه “في ما يتعلق بالوسائل اللازمة لتشغيل عملة زيغ، كعملة قانونية للاستخدام في الاقتصاد، فإن خارطة طريق إزالة الدولرة جاهزة الآن”.
يأتي هذا في حين قال متحدث باسم وزارة الخزانة “إن نكوبي قد يصدر إعلاناً الأسبوع المقبل، من دون تقديم تاريخ محدد”.
