أكد رئيس الجمهورية قيس سعيّد في اللقاء الذي جمعه، ظهر اليوم الاثنين 19 أوت 2024 بقصر قرطاج، بالسيد كمال المدوري، رئيس الحكومة، على ضرورة تأمين السير الطبيعي لكل المرافق العمومية للدولة، مشددا، بالخصوص، على مبدأ الحياد الكامل لكل المسؤولين عنها.
وشدد رئيس الدولة، على صعيد آخر، على أن الانتخابات هي محطات دورية تتيح للشعب صاحب السيادة وحده دون سواه أن يختار بكل حرية في احترام كامل للقانون، ولا مجال للتراخي والانتظار كما لا تسامح مع من يعمل على تأجيج الأوضاع وافتعال الأزمة تلو الأزمة مرة في هذا القطاع وأخرى في ذاك.
كما أكد رئيس الجمهورية على أن تونس دولة حرة مستقلة ذات سيادة ويرفض شعبها أن تتدخل فيه أي دوائر من الخارج، ويرفض أن يكون النظام داخل الدولة خادما مطيعا لهذه الدوائر وذيلا ذليلا يُؤمر فيفعل ويستجيب.
