يرعى صاحب السمو الملكي الأمير سعود بن طلال بن بدر محافظ الأحساء اليوم الاثنين , انطلاق فعاليات معرض “اللومي الحساوي 2024” في دورته الأولى، الذي تُنظّمه غرفة الأحساء بالتعاون مع المحافظة، وهيئة تطوير الأحساء، ووزارة البيئة والمياه والزراعة، بمشاركة 40 عارضًا، و 23 جهة شريكة وراعية، لمدة ستة أيام.
وتتضمن فعاليات المعرض ، التي تقام على الأرض المجاورة لمقر غرفة الأحساء , عروضًا حيّة لطرق تصنيع منتجات مشتقة وتحويلية من “اللومي الحساوي” الحرف اليدوية الخاصة بزراعته وحصاده وتصنيع منتجاته، إضافة إلى معرض علمي، ومعرض تصوير، وركن الطفل، وتجارب الطهي الحي، و 5 جلسات حوارية، و 8 ورش عمل أكاديمية وعلمية، و 10 ورش عمل حرفية.
ويهدف المعرض إلى إبراز اللومي الحساوي والتعريف بمكانته ومنتجاته ومشتقاته، وأهمية المنتجات الزراعية الأصيلة، وتشجيع المزارعين ومبتكري المنتجات والمستثمرين والأسر المنتجة للعناية بإنتاجه وتسويقه، وتطوير الصناعات المشتقة والتحويلية منه، وتوفير منصة تسويقية للومي الحساوي.
