أكد وزير الداخلية الكويتى الشيخ فهد اليوسف أن ما حدث فى ملف الجنسية احدى أكبر الجرائم فى حق الكويت مضيفا ولا يمكن السماح باستمرار هذه الجريمة وكل القرارات التى تتخذها اللجنة العليا لتحقيق الجنسية تتم وفق صحيح الإجراءات والقانون ويتم تدقيق كل الملفات بعناية قصوى
فيما اعلن فهد اليوسف بحسب تصريحاته لصحيفة الرأى الكويتية أنه سيتم تشكيل لجنة فى الإدارة العامة للجنسية مهمتها استقبال التظلمات لمن لدية تظلم من خلال التواصل عبر آلية معينة للاستماع آلية واتخاذ الاجراءت اللازمة
فيما كشف الوزير فهد اليوسف عن مفاجاة بشأن 930 حالة التى تم سحب الجنسية منهم قائلا أن من ضمن الحالات ال 930 التى صدر به قرار السحب والفقد هم سوريان هما اخوان فى الكويت والحقيقة انهم اولاد عم فى سوريا مبيننا ان الحالتين المذكورتين هربا إلى تركيا ويحملان الجنسية الكويتية بالتزوير ووارئهما نحو 132 اسما حصلو ع الجنسية بالتبعية زورا وبهتانا
وأضاف قائلا انه من ضمن الحالات اكثر شخصين تبين أن جنسيتهما السورية
