انطلقت فعاليات التدريب المصرى السعودى المشترك السهم الثاقب والذى تستمر فعالياته ع مدار عدة أيام بنطاق المنطقة الجنوبية العسكرية بجمهورية مصر العربية وبمشاركة عناصر من القوات البرية والجوية والبحرية والقوات الخاصة المصرية والسعودية
ويشمل التدريب المصرى السعودى المشترك السهم الثاقب ع تنفيذ العديد من الأنشطة النظرية والعملية منها قيام القوات المشاركة فى التدريب بأعمال التخطيط وإدارة أعمال قتال برية وجوية وبحرية مشتركة لصقل مهارات القادة والضباط فى إدارة العمليات وكذا تبادل الخبرات بين القوات المشاركة وصولا لأعلى معدلات الكفأة والاستعداد لتنفيذ اية مهام مشتركة تحت مختلف الظروف
كما يشمل التدريب المصرى السعودى المشترك السهم الثاقب ع عدد من الأنشطة ذات الطابع الاحترافى لعناصر القوات الخاصة والقوات البرية المشاركة فى التدريب
يأتى ذلك فى إطار دعم العلاقات المتميزة وتعزيز التعاون العسكرى وتبادل الخبرات مع القوات المسلحة للدول الشقيقة والصديقة
