ذكرت لجنة الأمم المتحدة الخاصة بالتحقيق فى الممارسات الاسرائيلية بأن حرب اسرائيل ع غزة تتوافق مع خصائص الابادة الجماعية مع سقوط اعداد كبيرة من الضحايا والظروف المهددة للحياة المفروضة عمدا ع الفلسطنيين فى القطاع
وأوضحت اللجنة فى تقرير لها انه منذ بداية الحرب دعم مسؤولون اسرائيلييون علنا سياسات تسلب الفلسطينين من الضروريات الأساسية لاستمرار الحياة من الغذاء والماء والوقود هذه التصريحات مع التدخل المنهجى وغير القانونى فى المساعدات الإنسانية يجعل نية اسرائيل واضحة فى استغلال الامدادات المنقذة للحياة لتحقيق مكاسب سياسية وعسكرية
وأضافت أن اسرائيل عبر حصارها لغزة وعرقلتها للمساعدات الإنسانية مع هجمات تستهدف وتقتل المدنيين وعمال الاغاثة وع الرغم من مناشدات الأمم المتحدة المتكررة والاوامر الملزمة من محكمة العدل الدوليه وقرارات مجلس الأمن قتلت عمدا المدنيين وتستخدم التجويع كاداة للحرب وتوقع عقابا جماعيا ع السكان الفلسطينين
