أعلن الرئيس الأمريكي جو بايدن خلال اجتماعة الثنائى والأخير مع نظيرة الصينى شى جين بينغ أنه يتعين ع الولايات المتحدة والصين بذل كل ما فى وسعهما لمنع المنافسة بينهما من التحول إلى نزاع
وقال بايدن فى مستهل اجتماعة مع شى جين بينج فى ليما بختام قمة التعاون الاقتصادى لآسيا والمحيط الهادى أبيك حسبما أفادت قناة الحرة الأمريكية اليوم الأحد أنه لا يمكن لبلدينا بأن يسمحا لهذه المنافسة بالتحول الى نزاع هذه مسئوليتنا وع مدى السنوات الأربع الماضية اعتقد إننا اثبتنا بأنه يمكن الحفاظ ع هذه العلاقة
وأضاف بايدن لشى بأنه فخور بالتقدم الذى احرزناه نحو استقرار العلاقات بين واشنطن وبكين
وأوضح بايدن أنه لم نكن نتفق دائما لكن محادثتنا كانت دائما صريحة مؤكدا انهما كانا صديقين مع بعضهما
