5.1 مليون يورور منحة من الاتحاد الأوروبى لموريتانيا
وقعت الحكومة الموريتانية والاتحاد الأوروبي، الأربعاء، اتفاقا تحصل بموجبه نواكشوط على منحة من الأخير تبلغ قيمتها 5.1 مليون يورو.
ووقع الاتفاقية في نواكشوط وزير العدل الموريتاني محمد محمود بن عبد الله بن بيه ونائب رئيس المفوضية الأوروبية ماركاريتيس شيناس.
وبحث الطرفان، خلال اللقاء الذي حضره وزراء الدفاع والداخلية والاقتصاد، كافة القضايا ذات الاهتمام المشترك، خاصة تلك المتعلقة بقضايا الهجرة غير الشرعية.
وفي تصريحات صحفية عقب المناقشات، في نواكشوط، كشف نائب رئيس المفوضية الأوروبية عن نية الاتحاد تشكيل اتحاد دولي لمكافحة الهجرة غير الشرعية التي خلفت العديد من القتلى في البحر الأبيض المتوسط.
وشدد شيناس، الذي يرافقه وفد أوروبي يضم وزير الداخلية الإسباني فرناندو غراندي مارلاسكا، على أن الاتحاد يسعى للاستثمار في موريتانيا وتعزيز التعاون معها في عدة مجالات من بينها المجال الرقمي والنقل البري والبحري والأمن. وأنها لن تدخر جهدا في دعم موريتانيا.
