قال الدكتور نادر حسن استشاري طب وجراحة العيون بمستشفى معهد ناصر، إنه مع تقلبات الطقس وبدء انخفاض درجات الحرارة، تقل نسبة الرطوبة مما يؤثر بشكل كبير على العين، حيث أن انخفاض الرطوبة والبقاء داخل المنزل لفترات أطول يسبب دموع العين تتبخر.
وأضاف طبيب العيون في تصريح خاص لـ”اليوم السابع” أن الهواء البارد قد يسبب آلام في العين، أو تشوش الرؤية، أو الشعور بوجود شيء ما في العين، وقد يؤدي إلى دموع العين.
وأشار استشاري العيون إلى أن هناك طرقاً لحماية وتهدئة عينيك أثناء التقلبات الجوية، حيث يمكنك استخدام قطرات الدموع الاصطناعية التي تعمل على ترطيب العيون، وقد تحتاج إلى قطرات خاصة حسب تعليمات الطبيب المختص، أو تغيرات في نمط الحياة، على سبيل المثال، إذا كنت تستخدم أجهزة الكمبيوتر، فخذ قسطًا من الراحة لفترة من الوقت. على الأقل 5 دقائق كل ساعة.
كما أن من النصائح عند الخروج في الطقس البارد، ارتداء النظارات الواقية لتجنب الرياح التي تسبب جفاف العيون، والإكثار من شرب الماء لضمان حصول عينيك على المزيد من الترطيب.
وأوضحت أن جفاف العيون يمكن أن يضر برؤيتك مع مرور الوقت، لذا يجب عليك ملاحظة أي أعراض قد تظهر في العين، مثل حرقان أو سعال أو احمرار في العين، ويجب عليك المتابعة مع طبيب العيون الخاص بك ليكون على علم إذا النصائح السابقة لا تفيدك.
