المفوضية الأوروبية: يجب وقف عنف المتطرفين بمستوطنات الضفة الغربية
قالت أورسولا فون دير لاين، رئيسة المفوضية الأوروبية، إن العنف المتصاعد الذي ينفذه المتطرفون في الضفة الغربية التي تحتلها إسرائيل يجب أن يتوقف.
ويتزايد عنف المستوطنين الإسرائيليين ضد الفلسطينيين في الضفة الغربية منذ 7 تشرين الأول/أكتوبر.
وقالت فون دير لاين: “يجب أن نمنع انتشار العنف، حتى يصبح التعايش السلمي ممكنا مع حل الدولتين”.
وجاءت تصريحاتها خلال مؤتمر صحفي في كندا مع رئيس الوزراء جاستن ترودو ورئيس المجلس الأوروبي تشارلز ميشيل.
وأضافت: “إن الشعب الفلسطيني والدول العربية المجاورة بحاجة إلى الاطمئنان بأنه لن يكون هناك تهجير قسري، بل رؤية قابلة للحياة لدولة فلسطينية مستقلة، من خلال إعادة توحيد غزة والضفة الغربية، تحت حكم السلطة الفلسطينية الإصلاحية”. ولتحقيق هذه الغاية، يجب أن يتوقف العنف”. “المتطرفون غير المقبولين في الضفة الغربية.”
وقال الرئيس الأمريكي جو بايدن في وقت سابق من هذا الأسبوع إن الولايات المتحدة مستعدة لفرض حظر على تأشيرات الدخول على “المتطرفين” الذين يهاجمون المدنيين في الضفة الغربية المحتلة.
