ترأست نيفين القباج وزيرة التضامن الاجتماعي ونائب رئيس مجلس إدارة جمعية الهلال الأحمر المصري اجتماع مجلس إدارة جمعية الهلال الأحمر المصري، وذلك بحضور الدكتور عادل العدوي وزير الصحة والسكان الأسبق وعضو مجلس إدارة الهلال الأحمر المصري ، وأ أيمن عبد الموجود مساعد وزيرة التضامن الاجتماعى لشئون مؤسسات العمل الأهلي ود. رامى الناظر المدير التنفيذي لجمعية الهلال الأحمر المصري واعضاء مجلس الإدارة.
وأشادت وزيرة التضامن الاجتماعي بالجهود التي يقوم بها الهلال الأحمر المصري إزاء الأزمة الإنسانية التي يشهدها قطاع غزة جراء الحرب الإسرائيلية، وهذا ما يشهد له الجميع سواء على المستوى المحلي أو المستوى الدولي من المنظمات الأممية، مؤكدة أن هناك عملاً مستمراً فى تطوير الجهود ودعم المتطوعين دعمًا للجمعية فى تحقيق رسالتها الإنسانية السامية.
وشهد الاجتماع مناقشة جدول الأعمال، حيث تم اعتماد الميزانية المقترحة بشأن تعزيز قدرات الهلال الأحمر المصري في الاستجابة داخل قطاع غزة واستمرار إقامة المخيمات وفق المراحل المدرجة في خطة التشغيل، كما تمت الموافقة على إقامة وتشغيل “مطبخ إنساني” بمدينة الشيخ زويد تجهز فيه وجبات يوميًّا ويتم نقلها إلى قطاع غزة، كما تمت الموافقة على اتخاذ التنسيقات اللازمة لتكثيف جهود الهلال الأحمر المصري ومعاونة نظيره الهلال الأحمر الفلسطيني داخل قطاع غزة لما له من أبعاد مختلفة تأكيدًا على الدور الريادي للدولة المصرية، ودعم سرعة الاستجابة وضمان استدامة الخدمات الإنسانية المقدمة على المدى الطويل ، وإبراز دور الهلال الأحمر المصري كشريك فاعل مع العديد من المؤسسات والمنظمات التي تعمل داخل غزة .
واستعرضت القباج حجم المساعدات التى قدمت لغزة منذ بدء الأزمة وحتى الأيام الماضية عبر 40 دولة، و13 منظمة دولية بإجمالى 111490 طنا دخلت عبر 7179 شاحنة ، تنوعت بين المساعدات الغذائية والإمدادات الدوائية ومستلزمات الإعاشة، ومثلت المساعدات التى قدمت عبر الدولة المصرية ومنظمات المجتمع المدنى 37220 طناً من إجمالي المساعدات.
