تمكن فريق طبي بقسم جراحة العظام في مستشفى الملك فيصل بمكة عضو تجمع مكة المكرمة الصحي من إعادة ترميم اوتار اليد اليمنى لمريض في العقد الثالث من العمر خلال عملية جراحية ناجحة استغرقت 45 دقيقة.
وأوضح التجمع الصحي أن المريض حضر إلى قسم الطوارئ عن طريق الهلال الأحمر وهو يعاني من إصابة عبارة عن جرح قطعي عميق باليد اليمنى وبعد إجراء الفحوصات اللازمة اتضح وجود قطع بأوتار اليد الباسطة أدت إلى فقدان حركة الأصابع وبالتالي فقد وظيفة اليد اليمنى، وعلى الفور جرى استدعاء استشاري جراحة العظام لقسم الطوارئ وبعد معاينة الحالة ووضع الخطة العلاجية تم تنويم المريض بقسم العظام تمهيداً لإجراء العملية الجراحية.
وأضاف بأنه بعد الانتهاء من تجهيز المريض وغرفة العمليات تم إجراء الجراحة في نفس اليوم وتمكن الفريق الطبي من عمل جراحة استكشافيّة لموضع الإصابة حيث اتضح وجود قطع بكامل الوتر للإصبع الثاني والثالث وقطع جزئي بوتر الإصبع الرابع، وأجريت العملية الجراحية لإعادة ترميم الأوتار المصابة بنجاح واستعاد المريض القدرة على تحريك أصابعه ووظيفة اليد اليمنى مرة أخرى وهو بحالة صحية مستقرة وتماثل للشفاء.
