سيبقى نصر أكتوبر المجيد نقطة فارقة في تاريخ مصر المعاصر، ورمزًا لشموخها وعزتها؛ ففي مثل هذا اليوم، سطَّرَ رجال العسكرية المصرية وقادتها أروع ملاحم الفداء والتضحية لاسترداد أرض سيناء الطاهرة، وضربوا المثل العظيم، بمساندة شعب أعظم، في الصمود وتحقيق النصر، ليؤكدوا أن التلاحم بين الشعب والقوات المسلحة هو الحصن المنيع الذي يصون الدولة المصرية طوال تاريخها.
