هذا وتم عقد اجتماع موسع بحضور قيادات القطاع الطبى والسادة عميد كلية الطب والأساتذة بالكلية ورئيس اللجنة الهندسية لرئيس الجامعة و القائم بعمل المدير التنفيذى للمستشفى والأمين العام للجامعة هذا واوصى سيادته بضرورة تعاون الجميع بإنهاء كافة التجهيزات خاصة بالرعاية المركزة وما يلزم من كافة الأعمال لبدء افتتاح المستشفى هذا وتم مناقشة العديد من المقترحات الطبيبة والهندسية لانهاء الأعمال الجارية بالمستشفى وعقب الاجتماع قام د. عمر شريف
