وقال الدكتور غازي فيصل مدير المركز العراقي للدراسات الاستراتيجية: ما حدث في المستشفى المعمداني جريمة حرب وعمل إجرامي، ويجب أن يكون هناك تحقيق دولي في طبيعة الهجوم ومصدره. القصة الصحيحة هي أن إسرائيل استهدفت المستشفى.
وأضاف غازي فيصل خلال مداخلة هاتفية ببرنامج “مساء دي إم سي” الذي يقدمه الإعلامي أسامة كمال المذاع على قناة دي إم سي، أن الاحتلال يحاصر غزة من مختلف الجهات ويمنع وصول أي مقومات الحياة إليها مما يشكل خطرا كبيرا إلى قطاع غزة، حيث منعت وصول المياه والغذاء والأدوية والكهرباء. .
وأوضح غازي فيصل أن العدو استهدف كل شيء من سيارات الإسعاف والمدنيين والأطفال وسيارات الدفاع المدني، لذلك لا يمكننا تصديق الرواية الإسرائيلية القائلة بأن صاروخ حماس هو الذي سقط على المستشفى.
وأكد غازي فيصل أن قمة القاهرة للسلام حققت نجاحا مهما على مستوى الموقف العربي والإقليمي والدولي، وشكلت محطة ضغط على المجتمع الدولي.
