وأكدت الأونروا أن القصف الإسرائيلي على غزة صادم ومستوى الدمار غير مسبوق، موضحة أن الحصار المفروض على غزة هو عقاب جماعي.
وأضافت الأونروا خلال إحاطة لمجلس الأمن بثتها قناة القاهرة الإخبارية: “ندعو إلى تقديم الدعم والمساعدة لنا لحماية موظفينا في غزة، ويتعرض السكان المدنيون في غزة للعقاب الجماعي والتهجير القسري. “
وتابعت الأونروا: “إن الوقود والمياه والغذاء والدواء ينفد منا في قطاع غزة، وسكان قطاع غزة بحاجة إلى تعاطفنا، والوضع على الحدود بين إسرائيل ولبنان يزداد سوءا”.
