الهلال الأحمر الفلسطينى يُطالب المجتمع الدولى بتوفير الحماية لمُستشفى القدس فى غزة
دعت جمعية الهلال الأحمر الفلسطيني، اليوم السبت، المجتمع الدولي والشركاء في الحركة الدولية للصليب الأحمر والهلال الأحمر إلى التدخل الفوري والعاجل لحماية مستشفى القدس وطواقمه الطبية، بالإضافة إلى 500 مريض وأكثر من ويتواجد فيها 14 ألف نازح، وفقاً للقانون الدولي الإنساني واتفاقية جنيف الرابعة..
واستنكرت الجمعية في بيان صحفي، قيام دبابات الاحتلال بمحاصرة مستشفى القدس وإطلاق النار عليه بشكل مباشر. وأدى ذلك إلى وقوع عدد من الإصابات لم تعرف بعد، إضافة إلى حالة من الذعر والخوف الشديد بين النازحين وغالبيتهم من الأطفال والنساء..
وأعربت الجمعية عن قلقها البالغ على سلامة طواقمها الطبية العاملة في المستشفى، خاصة مع استمرار انقطاع خدمات الإنترنت والاتصالات لليوم الرابع على التوالي ومع استمرار عزل المستشفى عن محيطه لليوم السادس. على التوالي، نتيجة إغلاق كافة الطرق المؤدية إليها بسبب القصف المستمر. مما أدى إلى تدمير المباني والشوارع المحيطة.
