بلينكن: ما تزال "هناك فجوة" بشأن حماية المدنيين فى غزة
قال وزير الخارجية الأمريكي أنتوني بلينكن، الخميس، إنه لا تزال هناك فجوة بين نية إسرائيل حماية المدنيين والنتائج على الأرض في غزة، مضيفا أن واشنطن تتحدث مع إسرائيل بانتظام بشأن حماية المدنيين.
جاء ذلك خلال مؤتمر صحافي في واشنطن عقب لقائه وزير الخارجية البريطاني ديفيد كاميرون.
وقال بلينكن: “يظل من الضروري لإسرائيل أن تعطي الأولوية لحماية المدنيين. لا تزال هناك فجوة بين، بالضبط كما قلت عندما كنت هناك، نية حماية المدنيين والنتائج الفعلية التي نراها على الأرض”.
وتابع: “يجب وضع الأسس اللازمة لسلام دائم وشامل بين الفلسطينيين وإسرائيل”، مؤكدا “نحن نركز على منع تصاعد العنف في الضفة الغربية”.
