الإمارات تدعو مجلس الأمن بالتحرك لوقف العدوان على غزة
وقال السفير محمد عيسى أبو شهاب، نائب المندوب الدائم لدولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة لدى الأمم المتحدة، إن عالم العديد من سكان غزة الذين لم يغادروا القطاع “يتم تدميره بشكل منهجي أمام أعينهم”.“.
وذكر أنه يجب على مجلس الأمن أن يتخذ إجراءات بشأن الأزمة عندما لا يصل سوى القليل من المساعدات ويعجز العاملون في المجال الإنساني عن إيصالها خوفا من التعرض للقتل..
جاء ذلك في كلمة السفير خلال الجلسة الطارئة لمجلس الأمن لمناقشة الوضع الكارثي في غزة اليوم الجمعة، بحسب ما ورد في الموقع الإلكتروني للأمم المتحدة..
وأضاف: “على الرغم من الهدنة المؤقتة الأخيرة، إلا أن العنف والخطر على المدنيين لم يهدأ. في الواقع، انتقل هذا الصراع الآن إلى مرحلة جديدة وأكثر خطورة”، مشيراً إلى أن حصار خان يونس وأجزاء أخرى من جنوب غزة بدأت الآن..
وتابع: “لا يوجد عمليا ملاذ آمن لملايين الأشخاص المحاصرين والمعرضين للهجوم”.“.
