إيطاليا تحتفل بموافقة الاتحاد الأوروبى على ميثاق الهجرة الجديد
أعرب وزير الداخلية الإيطالي ماتيو بيانتيدوسي، اليوم، عن تقديره لموافقة الاتحاد الأوروبي على اتفاقية بشأن المهاجرين واللجوء، واصفا إياها بالنجاح الكبير لبلاده، بحسب بيان نشرته صحيفة “ال ميساجيرو” الإيطالية.
وتسلط مذكرة منشورة على الموقع الرسمي لوزارة الداخلية الضوء على تصريحات بيانتيدوسي حول هذا الاتفاق الجديد الذي، كما أشار، سيسمح لأوروبا وإيطاليا “بالحصول على قواعد جديدة لإدارة تدفقات الهجرة ومكافحة المتاجرين بالبشر”.
وأشارت الصحيفة إلى أنه تم التوقيع على الاتفاقية، أمس الأربعاء، في مقر المجموعة الإقليمية في بروكسل ببلجيكا، في اجتماع حضره ممثلو رئاسة مجلس الاتحاد الأوروبي، والبرلمان الأوروبي، والمفوضية الأوروبية.
وشدد الوزير على أن ذلك جاء “نتيجة مفاوضات طويلة لعبت فيها إيطاليا دائما دورا قياديا، من أجل التوصل إلى حل متوازن لا يجعل الدول الحدودية للاتحاد الأوروبي، خاصة تلك المعرضة لضغوط الهجرة، تشعر بالوحدة”.
من المؤكد أن الدولة الأولى في الاتحاد التي يدخل إليها المهاجر أو اللاجئ ستكون مسؤولة عن معالجة قضيته، ولكن تم إنشاء آلية تضامن جديدة لموازنة النظام الحالي، والتي بموجبها مجموعة صغيرة من الدول، بالنظر إلى موقعهم الجغرافي، يديرون غالبية طلبات اللجوء. .
تتضمن الوثيقة قائمة فحص، والتي تضع قواعد موحدة فيما يتعلق بتحديد هوية مواطني الدول الثالثة عند وصولهم، وبالتالي زيادة الأمن داخل منطقة شنغن.
