أكمل الطيارون الأوكرانيون الأوائل التدريب الأساسي في المملكة المتحدة لقيادة طائرة إف-16
أكملت المجموعة الأولى من الطيارين الأوكرانيين التدريب الأساسي كجزء من عمل التحالف الدولي الجوي. ذكرت هذا قناة UATV العربية اليوم، 26 ديسمبر/كانون الأول، بالإشارة إلى الخدمة الصحفية لوزارة الدفاع الأوكرانية.
أعرب وزير الدفاع رستم عمروف عن امتنانه للحكومة البريطانية ووزير الدفاع جرانت شابس للمشاركة في تدريب الطيارين المقاتلين الأوكرانيين.
وأكد عمروف: “إن أوكرانيا تقدر عاليا التدريب الذي تقدمه لنا المملكة المتحدة وشركاء آخرون لقيادة طائرات مقاتلة من طراز إف-16. هذا برنامج سريع وفعال لتزويد الطيارين الأوكرانيين بالمهارات التي يحتاجونها في الحرب ضد روسيا”.
في أغسطس/آب 2023، بدأت القوات الجوية البريطانية تدريبًا خاصًا على اللغة الإنجليزية في مجال الطيران لمجموعة مكونة من 6 طيارين مقاتلين أوكرانيين ذوي خبرة. بعد ذلك ذهبوا لدراسة قيادة طائرات مقاتلة من طراز إف-16 في الدنمارك.
وشارك في التدريب اللغوي 10 طيارين أوكرانيين آخرين، وبقوا في المملكة المتحدة لمواصلة التدريب العملي الأساسي على الطيران، فضلاً عن اكتساب مهارات مهمة مثل طب الطيران وغيرها.
وستواصل المملكة المتحدة تدريب الطيارين والموظفين الأرضيين الأوكرانيين في عام 2024.
