انهت اللجان المخصصة باختيار المرشحين لمنصب عمداء كليات العلوم، والفون الجميلة، ودار العلوم بجامعة المنيا أعمالها، وذلك بعد عقدها المقابلات الشخصية للمرشحين بمقر قاعة مجلس الجامعة على مدار ثلاثة أيام متواصلة.
وقد عُقدت اللجان برئاسة الدكتور عصام فرحات رئيس جامعة المنيا، وعضوية د. جمال أبو المكارم رزق رئيس جامعة المنيا الأسبق، وأعضاء لجنة كلية العلوم التي شملت د. مختار إبراهيم يوسف، نائب رئيس جامعة الإسكندرية السابق لشئون الدراسات العليا والبحوث، ود. محمد محمود الدسوقي، عميد كلية العلوم جامعة السويس، ود. عواد فرغل أحمد، عميد كلية العلوم بجامعة المنيا الأسبق، وأعضاء لجنة كلية الفنون الجميلة وضمت د. محمد إسماعيل جاهين عميد كلية الفنون الجميلة الأسبق، ود. هشام المعداوي، عميد كلية الفنون الجميلة الأقصر الأسبق، ود. محمد صبري، عميد فنون حلوان الأسبق، كما ضمت لجنة دارالعلوم، د. فتحي الشرقاوي، نائب رئيس جامعة عين شمس الأسبق، ود. رابح رتيب، عميد كلية الحقوق ببني سويق الأسبق، ود. محمد علي الجندي، وكيل كلية دار العلوم جامعة المنيا الأسبق.
وتمت المقابلات ضمن ترتيب القائمة للسادة المتقدمين لشغل منصب عميد للكليات المعنية، في إطار من الشفافية والحيادية وتكافؤ الفرص، ووفقاً للمعايير المحددة من قبل المجلس الأعلى للجامعات.
وأوضح رئيس الجامعة، أن لجان اختيار العمداء، انعقدت لتقييم المرشحين بناءً على عدة معايير وشروط تشمل، خطة تطوير الكلية، ونقاط القوة والضعف، والفرص والتهديدات التي تواجه الكلية، وكيفية التغلب على نقاط الضعف والاستفادة من نقاط القوة، ورؤى تطوير العملية التعليمية على مستوى مرحلة البكالوريوس والدراسات العليا، وخدمة المجتمع والبيئة، وكيفية تنمية الموارد الذاتية للكلية، إضافة إلى استعراض السيرة الذاتية للمرشح.
