قررت مجموعة قنوات mbc إيقاف الإعلامي مهيب عبدالهادي عن الظهور على القناة لمدة أسبوعين، بسبب إعلانه خلال برنامجه التلفزيوني اللعيب المذاع علي mbc مصر، أن الصحفي الإيطالي الشهير فابريزيو رومانو هو مدرب ليفربول الجديد، الأمر الذي أثار جدلًا واسعًا على مواقع التواصل الإجتماعي، لا سيما أن رومانو واحد من أشهر الصحفيين الرياضيين حول العالم، وتتمتع أخباره بمصداقية كبيرة.
إدارة القناة قررت منع مهيب عبد الهادي من الظهور لمدة أسبوعين، وذلك بسبب الخطأ الذي وقع فيه خلال إحدي الحلقات.
جدير بالذكر أن إدارة القناة سبق وأوقفت برنامج اللعيب، وأحالت مقدمه مهيب عبد الهادي للتحقيق، بسبب التونسي إلياس الجلاصي لاعب النادي المصري البورسعيدي، حيث أجرى اللاعب مداخلة هاتفية مع البرنامج، وسأل اللاعب المذيع ما إذا كانوا على الهواء حاليا أم في استراحة.
وخدع مهيب إلياس وأخبره بأنهم في استراحة حاليا، وأن رضا عبد العال نجم الكرة المصرية السابق “بيسلم عليه”، ليتحدث اللاعب بأريحية، ويستغل المذيع الأمر بعد ذلك ليسأله عن مفاوضات الزمالك معه، ويجيب الجلاصي بأن أي لاعب يتمنى اللعب في الأبيض، وبالفعل تفاوض معه مدحت عبد الهادي.
