مطالبات لتوسيع عضويه مجلس الامن

جددت الجزائر، عبر أمينها العام لوزارة الخارجية، لوناس مقرمان، دعوتها الملحة لإصلاح مجلس الأمن الدولي، وضرورة منح قارة إفريقيا مقعدين دائمين في المجلس.
وأكد مقرمان خلال النقاش أن الغاية من هذا التحرك هي ليس فقط ضمان تمثيل أوسع للدول النامية، بل تعديل أساليب العمل والأحكام المتعلقة بحق النقض (الفيتو)، الذي غالبا ما يشكل نقطة خلاف في تنفيذ قرارات المجلس.
وطالب مقرمان بموقف صريح وداعم من الدول الأعضاء الدائمة في المجلس — الولايات المتحدة، روسيا، الصين، بريطانيا وفرنسا — لإظهار التزامها بعملية الإصلاح.
واختتم حديثه بالتأكيد على أهمية التجاوب مع التطلعات الإفريقية، مشيرا إلى أن الإصلاحات المنشودة تعتبر خطوة حاسمة نحو تحقيق العدالة والتوازن في النظام العالمي.
