4- توفير فرص التدريب العملي بالتعاون بين الهيئة وأعضاء هيئة التدريس لطلبة كليات الآداب والتجارة والقانون والعلوم والهندسة في الأقسام المتعلقة بالموانئ البحرية بغرض تأهيلهم وإعدادهم لمواكبة العصر. متطلبات سوق العمل.
5- تحديث المعارف والمهارات اللازمة لمواكبة التطورات الحديثة
6- ستشارك الجامعة في تطوير القدرات الفنية للعاملين في الميناء.
7- تقديم دورات تدريبية وورش عمل للموظفين وتسهيل التحاقهم بالدراسات العليا في التخصصات ذات العلاقة برسوم مخفضة.
8- تسهيل الإجراءات الإدارية للسماح للطلاب بالدخول إلى الدائرة الجمركية للحصول على التدريب العملي قبل بدء البرنامج التدريبي.
9- إعطاء إفادة باسم الطالب والكلية والقسم ومدة استكمال التدريب، واعتماد استمارة تقييم المتدرب بختم مركز التدريب.
10- ستشارك في تطوير البرامج التدريبية لطلاب أقسام الكلية المتعلقة بالموانئ البحرية.
