أطلقت الصين بنجاح، يوم الثلاثاء، قمرا صناعيا جديدا للاستشعار عن بعد إلى الفضاء من مركز شيتشانغ لإطلاق الأقمار الصناعية في مقاطعة سيتشوان، جنوب غربي البلاد.
وذكرت وكالة الأنباء الصينية أنه تم إطلاق صاروخ من طراز Long March-2D يحمل القمر الصناعي Yaogan-39. وهذه هي المهمة رقم 492 لسلسلة صواريخ لونج مارش.
وفي سياق متصل، قال فريق بحث صيني إنه قام ببناء محطة أرصاد جوية آلية على ارتفاع 5896 مترا في جبال كونلون بمنطقة شينجيانغ الويغورية ذاتية الحكم شمال غربي الصين.
وذكرت الوكالة أن المحطة الجديدة التي تم تدشينها أول من أمس الأحد، هي الآن الأعلى في جبال كونلون، وكانت هذه المهمة بمثابة استكمال شبكة محطات المراقبة في القطاع الأوسط من جبال كونلون في الشمال. منحدر هضبة تشينغهاي-التبت، المعروفة باسم “سقف العالم”.
بقيادة معهد فيزياء الغلاف الجوي التابع للأكاديمية الصينية للعلوم وهيئة الأرصاد الجوية في منطقة شينجيانغ الويغورية ذاتية الحكم، أمضى الفريق ثلاثة أشهر في تحدي الطقس القاسي والتغلب على دوار الارتفاعات لاستكمال بناء المحطة.
