قانون الانتخابات يُجيز إنشاء لجان الوافدين لتصويت المغتربين فى غير محافظاتهم
وتسمح المادة 33 من قانون الانتخابات الرئاسية للناخبين الذين لهم حق الاقتراع وفقا للقانون بالإدلاء بأصواتهم في مكان غير محل إقامتهم إذا كانوا في محافظة أخرى خلال أيام الاقتراع في الانتخابات الرئاسية. ونصت المادة على أنه “يعتبر الناخب من محافظة غير المحافظة التي يتبع لها محل إقامته”. وله رخصة الإقامة الدائمة أن يدلي بصوته أمام أي من لجان الاقتراع المختصة في المحافظة التي يوجد بها، وفقا للضوابط التي تحددها الهيئة الوطنية للانتخابات.
وخصصت الهيئة الوطنية للانتخابات ما يعرف بلجان المغتربين أو المغتربين، وسمحت الهيئة الوطنية للانتخابات للناخبين المتواجدين في محافظة غير المحافظة التي ينتمي إليها محل إقامتهم الثابت على بطاقة الهوية الوطنية، بالإدلاء بأصواتهم في الانتخابات الرئاسية 2024 أمام أي من لجان الاقتراع المختصة في المحافظة التي توجد بها، وفق الضوابط التي تحددها الهيئة.
أعلنت الهيئة الوطنية للانتخابات، أنها بدأت توزيع الناخبين الذين يحق لهم التصويت في الانتخابات الرئاسية 2024 على المراكز الانتخابية البالغ عددها 10,85 على مستوى الجمهورية، حسب محل الإقامة المثبت على بطاقة الهوية الوطنية، تمهيدا لتقديم استعلام المفوضية العليا للانتخابات. الخدمة من خلال الوسائل التي تحددها. الهيئة الوطنية للانتخابات.
