زراعة بورسعيد: وصول المساحات المنزرعة بمحصول بنجر السكر إلى 26131 فدانا
أكد الدكتور حسني عطية عزام، وكيل وزارة الزراعة ببورسعيد، أن المساحات المزروعة بمحصول “البنجر السكري” بالأراضي الزراعية بالمحافظة بلغت 26131 فداناً.
وأضاف وكيل عام مديرية الزراعة بالمحافظة لـ”اليوم السابع” أن المناطق تتقدم يومًا بعد يوم بأراضي شرق وجنوب بورسعيد.
وأشار إلى أن هناك العديد من التطورات التي شهدها القطاع الزراعي ببورسعيد، والتي أثرت بشكل إيجابي على زيادة إنتاج المحاصيل الرئيسية، لافتا إلى أن من نتائج هذه التطورات تحقيق الاكتفاء الذاتي من محصول الأرز بالمحافظة.
بالإضافة إلى ذلك، تقوم المديرية ببورسعيد بحملات مستمرة ضد كافة الأراضي الزراعية غير القانونية والتي تم تحويل بعضها إلى مزارع سمكية. كما أنجزت المديرية في الفترة الأخيرة العديد من المشاريع لخدمة أهالي المحافظة مثل مشتل ومنحل خاص.
